Free Child Care Programs

ATCAA Head Start Preschool and Early Head Start offer child enrichment, education, health, nutritional and developmental services as well as parent education and involvement opportunities. ATCAA offers Head Start preschool and State Preschool programs to prepare children for kindergarten, and Early Head Start for pregnant women and children aged birth to three.

California State Preschool Program is administered by the CDE through local educational agencies, colleges, community-action agencies, and private nonprofit agencies

The Columbia College Child Care Center offers high quality child care for children age’s birth to 5 years.

The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO Program or ELO-P) provides funding for after-school and summer school enrichment programs for transitional kindergarten through sixth grade.
“Expanded learning” means before school, after school, summer, or intersession learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. It is the intent of the Legislature that expanded learning programs are pupil-centered, results driven, include community partners, and complement, but do not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and school year.
